Bio-Blitzers


Church Farm Bio Blitz, June 4-5

Sponsored by Joshua's Trust and EASTCONN

A BioBlitz is a 24-hour event in which teams of volunteer scientists, families, students, teachers, and other community member’s work together to find and identify as many species of plants, animals, microbes, fungi, and other organisms as possible. The Church Farm consists of 228 acres of diverse habitats. This should be a great exploration!

A BioBlitz gets people excited about science through hands-on experience. It helps people to discover the diversity of life that can be found in any local neighborhood or park.
